Bulk download for judges

When configuring a score set for VIP judging, Top pick, or Qualifying judging in your Award Force platform, program managers can allow judges to bulk download their assigned entries. This feature is useful for judges who wish to review entries while on the go and may not have access to a stable internet connection.

Note: depending on the judging mode and score set configuration, the judge's PDF may or may not include scoring boxes. The inclusion of scoring boxes is relevant for the VIP Judging mode only.

How to configure

To configure bulk download for judges, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Manage workspace and navigate to Judging > Settings > Score sets
  2. Click the name of a score set where you wish to allow bulk downloading
  3. Go to the 'Display' tab
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Enable bulk download of all a judge's assignments from the 'Download' area
    Enable bulk download checkbox
  5. Save

With this done, judges can now bulk download entries assigned to them using the Bulk download button available at the bottom of their judging view (see below).

Bulk download button

When a judge bulk downloads entries, an on-screen message will display letting them know the process has started. Once ready, an email will be sent with a link to download a zip file containing a folder for each entry assigned to the judge and includes a PDF and file attachments, determined by the field visibility settings configured on the relevant score set.

Please note, when the judge unzips the folder, there will be one folder for each entry containing all attachments and a PDF output of the entry. To increase the efficiency of the downloads, all attachment files over 500MB in size will be included as a link within a text file.

Note: the scoring PDF is available for download for individual entries and in bulk.
