Taking a screenshot

To help troubleshoot issues, we may ask you to send us a screenshot. This is an image of what you can see on your computer screen. You can do this on any computer or device and then send us the image file.

Windows

  1. On your keyboard, press Windows + PrtScn
  2. The screenshot will be saved to your Pictures > Screenshots folder
  3. Attach the screenshot to your email to support 

Mac

  1. On your keyboard, press Cmd + Shift + 3 (or use Cmd + Shift + 4 to capture a specific area)
  2. By default, the screenshot will be saved to your desktop
  3. Attach the screenshot to your email to support

iOS device (with home button)

  1. Press the home button on the device and at the same time hold down the power button at the top right
  2. You'll hear a camera-click sound and the image will be saved to your Photos app

iOS device (without home button)

  1. Press the volume up button on the device and at the same time hold down the power button at the top right
  2. You'll hear a camera-click sound and the image will be saved to your Photos app

Android device

This varies depending on the model you have but for most Android devices you can hold the power and volume-down button down at the same time for a couple of seconds. The image will appear in the Gallery on your device.
