Can a chapter manager move an entry into another category?

Chapter managers have the ability to change the category and chapter of an entry even after it has been submitted. This feature is useful when an entrant submits their entry to the wrong chapter.

Note: while chapter managers can move entries into other chapters, they will not be able to access the entry again if it is moved out of their assigned chapter.

To accomplish this:

  1. In the Manage workspace, go to Entries
  2. Click on the three dots next to the entry and click Edit

  3. Change the chapter
  4. Click Save + close
Important: if entry fields are different between categories or chapters, it could result in the entry being incomplete. Entry data be carried over to the new category if the fields used are the same.
