How do I give my judges access to the leaderboard?

The leaderboard is where you can find a list of entries and real-time judging results for all categories. The default ordering shows the entries from highest to lowest score. You can order the entries by clicking on the title in the table header.

Important: granting access to the leaderboard also give your judges the ability to view Entries in the Manage workspace. This access is not restricted by panels or assignments. The modified judge role will be able to see scores for all entries.

Within Award Force, it's easy to grant your judges access to the leaderboard. Just follow the steps below:

  1. From the Manage workspace, navigate to Settings > Users > Roles
  2. Click on the Judge role
  3. Click Advanced near the top of the page
    Advanced link in role settings
  4. Set the Chapters permission for Create and View to Allow
  5. Set the Entries(others) View permission to Allow
  6. Set the Scores(others) View permission to Allow
  7. Save

Once you've completed these steps, your judges will be able to view Judging > Leaderboard in the Manage workspace.

Tip: instead of changing the judge role, you may consider creating a new role specifically for the purpose of viewing the leaderboard. Then, give the role to selected users. This method allows you to add and remove the role from the user as you please and will not affect the actual judge role.
