How can I hide the 'Browse by category' box on judging?

The 'Browse by category' box you see on the top of the page is known as the category quick filter in Award Force. Available on all judging modes, including galleries, this filter allows your judges to filter their view to focus on the category of their choosing. By default, the category quick filter option is enabled, however, you may wish to hide this from your judges.

Hiding the filter

  1. In the Manage workspace, go to Judging > Settings > Score sets
  2. Click on the name of the score set you want to hide the category quick filter
  3. Go to the 'Display' tab
  4. Under 'Entry list', deselect the Category quick filter checkbox

  5. Click Save
Note: removing the quick filter for judges will also hide it from the judging leaderboard available to program managers. The standard filters will remain including the 'Advanced' search.
