Configuring review tasks is just the beginning of the process. Managing those tasks may take several forms, whether you need to manually initiate a task, delete one, reassign it, or reset a decision. Below you'll find steps on how to accomplish each of these.
Manually trigger review stage
If your review stage is not triggered by entry submission, you can manually trigger it. You might decide on this option if you'd like to trigger the review stage at a specific time in the future.
- In the Manage workspace, go to Entries
- Locate the entry/entries you wish to trigger the review stage for
Tip: to more quickly find those entries, click Advanced in the search bar to filter by category, the submitted status, a tag, etc. - Click the checkboxes associated with your desired entry or entries
- Open the Action drop-down
- Select Initiate review stage
- Choose the correct stage in the drop-down that appears
- Click Initiate review stage...

Delete a review task
You may need to delete a review task for a variety of reasons. For example, you may have created several tasks in testing the platform and wish to remove them. Deleting review tasks can be done individually or in bulk by using the Action drop-down. Here's how:
- In the Manage workspace, navigate to Review flow > Manage tasks
- Click the checkbox next to any task you wish to delete
- Open the Action drop-down at the top of the page
- Choose Delete
Reassign a review task
In the event that the review task assignee, called a 'reviewer', is unable to complete their task, managers can reassign that task to another user in the platform.
- Navigate to Review flow > Manage tasks in the Manage workspace
- Click the ellipsis (three dots) next to the task you need to reassign
- Choose Reassign reviewer
- In the pop-up that appears, select your new reviewer from the drop-down
- If desired, choose a notification to send
- Click Reassign reviewer when finished
Reset a review task decision
If an action flow task recipient accidentally selects the wrong decision (configured with the 'Proceed' and 'Stop' buttons), it's easy to reset their choice.
- In the Manage workspace, navigate to Review flow > Manage tasks
- Click the checkbox next to any decision you wish to reset
- Open the Action drop-down at the top of the page
- Choose Reset decision
