Review flow overview

What is review flow?

Review flow is a feature in Award Force that lets you route an entry through one or more review stages. At each stage, a task or notification is sent to a selected reviewer. This can be:

  • The entrant
  • Another person named in the entry
  • A specific email address

The reviewer can updates to the entry if permitted and then approve or reject the entry.

Based on that decision, the entry can move to the next review stage or stop.

How review flow works

You can create multiple review stages and multiple review flows. Different flows can be used for different categories or scenarios.

At each stage, the reviewer selects a review action:

  • Approve to allow the entry to continue
  • Reject to stop the entry

Review flow can apply a moderation status which can can control access to judging.

Judging panels can be configured to:

  • View only moderation approved entries, or
  • View all entries including those not yet reviewed
