Can I have a sandbox account?

What is a sandbox account?

A sandbox account can be a fantastic solution for programs that require API, integration, or even configuration testing on a broad scale without impacting the data of a primary account. Sandbox accounts are available as a free add-on to any Premier subscription. If you'd like to add a sandbox environment to your Award Force subscription or wish to upgrade to Premier, contact our support team

Sandbox account limitations

There are a number of limitations placed on sandbox accounts as sandboxes should be employed for testing purposes and not public use.

  • Account name and domain
Sandbox accounts will include "sandbox" as part of both the account name and the domain (URL) associated with the program. These must remain intact and should not be changed.
  • Broadcasts
Broadcast messages may be created and saved within a sandbox account, but they cannot be sent. To learn more about broadcasts, see our dedicated guide: Ultimate guide to broadcasts
  • File uploads
Files up to 50MB in size can be uploaded into the entry form of a sandbox account. Attempting to upload larger files will display an error message.
  • Public viewing
The guest role in sandbox accounts is restricted in panels to prevent public testing of judging features. For more information on user roles, see Ultimate guide to user roles
  • Users
Sandbox accounts are limited to a total of 20 users to facilitate internal testing, but not widespread access.
